If A is 25% more than B and B is 15% less than C, then A:B:C= ?

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 85 : 68 : 80

 

Let us assume C to be 100

As, B is 15% less than C
Value of B = 100 – 100 × 15/100 = (100 – 15) = 85

Now, A is 25% more than B
Value of A = 85 + 85 × 25/100 = (85 + 21.25) = 106.25

Now, A : B : C = 106.25 : 85 : 100 = 425 : 340 : 400 = 85 : 68 : 80
