⇒  65% of 350 - x% of 250 + 40% of 120 = 158

⇒ ${65 \over 100} \times 350 - {x \over 100} \times 250 + {40 \over 100} \times 120$ = 158

⇒ 227.5 - 2.5x + 48 = 158

⇒ 2.5x = 227.5 + 48 - 158

⇒ 2.5x = 117.5

⇒ x = $117.5 \over 2.5$

⇒ x = 47
