4sin²θ + 3cos²θ = 13/4

sin²θ + cos²θ = 1

Let sin²θ = x

cos²θ = 1 − x

4x + 3(1 − x) = 13/4

4x + 3 − 3x = 13/4

Hence sin²θ = 1/4
