Given that 

24 people can build 90 identical walls in 25 days

Formula used

( M₁ × D₁ ) / W₁ = ( M₂ × D₂ ) / W₂ ; where m = number of men, d = number of days worked, w = work done

Hence, $\frac{24 × 25}{90} = \frac{27 × D}{162}$

Solving for D we get

D = 40

Hence the number of extra days required = 40 - 25 = 15 days.
