$16x^4 +{{1} \over 16x^4}=14159,$

Formula used

If xⁿ + 1/xⁿ = a, then x^n/2 + 1/x^n/2 = √a + 2

⇒ (2x)² + 1/(2x)² = √14159 + 2 = √14161 = 119

⇒ 2x + $\frac{1}{2x}$ = √119 + 2 = √121 = 11

Hence the value of 2x + $\frac{1}{2x}$ = 11.
