If 15 + 12 = A, 19\frac{1}{9} = B, and A % of B = (A × B) + 1, then what is A % B?

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 4.

If 15 + 12 = A, 19\frac{1}{9} = B, and A % of B = (A × B) + 1,

A % B = (A × B) + 1

A % B = ((15 + 12) × 19\frac{1}{9}) + 1

A % B = (27  × 19\frac{1}{9}) + 1

A % B = 3 + 1 = 4

Then A % B = 4
