B. The Emperor is escorted by two decorated elephants who head the procession.

C. At the end come the platoons of soldiers in rows of two.

D. First of all, there is a volley of guns announcing Emperor Bahadur Shah’s entry into the mosque.

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. DBAC.

  • Statement D is independent and starts with "First of all" hence, it will be the opening statement.
  • Statement C will come at the end of the arrangement as it starts with "at the end".
  • Statement B and A will come in between the arrangement respectively.
  • Now we have the final arrangement i.e. DBAC.

The chosen option is the same as the final arrangement hence, it will be correct.

Some common rules that help while solving the Para Jumbles:-

  2. Try to identify the opening (Independent statement) and closing statement (Concluding statement).
  3. Try to identify the mandatory pairs. Two sentences can be connected through various connectors.
