We know that,

Mean proportional = √ab

here, a =  7$1\over5$ = 36/5, and b = 245

So,

Mean proportional = $\sqrt{({36 \over 5} \times 245)}$

⇒ $\sqrt{({36} \times 49)}$

⇒ $\sqrt{6\times6\times7\times7}$

⇒ 6 × 7 = 42

The only even prime number is 2. Now, divide the mean proportional by 2

⇒ 42/2 = 21

Therefore, the quotient is 21
