Given :

⇒ 6a² = 96

⇒ a² = 96/6

⇒ a² = 16

⇒ a = (16)^1/2

⇒ a = 4

Now, the diagonal of the gven cube = ${\sqrt{3}}a$ =$4 {\sqrt{3}}$

Hence the diagonal of cube is $4 {\sqrt{3}}$ cm.
