Find the area (in m²) of a rectangular field whose one side is 35 m and a diagonal is 37 m.

Diagonal2 = Length2 + Breadth2

⇒ 372 = 352 + b2

⇒ 1369 = 1225 + b2

⇒ b2 = 1369 − 1225 = 144

Area = Length × Breadth = 35 × 12 = 420 m²
