Show answer & explanation
Correct answer: B
Explanation
Europa Clipper Mission -
Europa Clipper is a highly ambitious mission of the US space agency NASA. It is specifically designed to conduct a detailed study of Jupiter's moon Europa.
Scientists believe that a vast saltwater ocean lies hidden beneath Europa's icy surface. This ocean could contain twice as much water as all of Earth's oceans combined.
The mission's primary objective: to determine whether Europa possesses conditions conducive to life (such as water, energy, and chemical elements).
Instead of landing on Europa's surface, the spacecraft will orbit it several times to avoid radiation and collect high-resolution data.
