Show answer & explanation
Correct answer: B
Explanation
The correct answer is option 2 i.e. Aurobindo Ghosh.
Aurobindo Ghosh (Sri Aurobindo) wrote the epic poem Savitri: A Legend and a Symbol.
This monumental work, which he described as his 'major achievement,' is a spiritual epic of approximately 24,000 lines.
It reinterprets the ancient Indian legend of Savitri and Satyavan from the Mahabharata, transforming it into a profound symbolic narrative about the soul's journey toward divine consciousness and the conquest of death.
Sri Aurobindo, a philosopher, yogi, and poet, composed it over several decades during his spiritual retreat in Pondicherry. The other figures listed—Phule, Tilak, and Ambedkar—were eminent social reformers and leaders but not associated with this literary masterpiece.
