Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: D

Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 8.

The shopkeeper will give back = 100 - 20

⇒ Rs.80

Let the number of Rs.2, Rs.5, and Rs.10 coins be 5x, 4x, and x.

⇒ 5x(2) + 4x(5) + x(10) = 80

⇒ 10x + 20x + 10x = 80

⇒ x = 2

Number of Rs.5 coins = 4(2)

⇒ 8
