Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is option 2 i.e. 60.

The initial distance between the thief and the police = 250 m = 0.25 km

The thief runs 1.5 km before being caught.

So, the police car covers = 1.5 + 0.25 = 1.75 km

The speed of the police car = 70 km/h

Time taken by the police = 1.75/70 = 0.025 hours

Thief's speed = 1.5/0.025 = 60 km/h

So, the speed of the thief's bike is 60 km/h.
