Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: D

Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 15 lakh bottles.

Average= Sum of observation/No. of observations

Average production of flavour A in 2012, 2013 and 2014 = (50 + 45 + 75) ÷ 3 = (170/3) lakh bottles

Average production of flavour C in 2012, 2013 and 2014 = (65 + 70 + 80) ÷ 3 = (215/3) lakh bottles

Hence, the difference = (215 - 170)/3 = 15 lakh bottles

Difference between average production of flavor A in 2012, 2013, and 2014 and average production of flavor C in 2012, 2013, and 2014 is 15 lakh bottles.
