Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: B

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 2 i.e. 7.

Number = 763254

Divisor = 18

The divisibility rule of 7 states that for a number to be divisible by 7 - Difference between the twice the unit digit of a given number and the remaining part of the number should be divisible by 7 or equal to 0

New number = 763254 - 5 × 41 = 763254 - 205 = 763049

By the divisibility rule of 7 -

Number = 76304 - 2 × 9 = 76286

Again, Number = 7628 - 2 × 6 = 7616

Again, Number = 761 - 2 × 6 = 749

Again, Number = 74 - 2 × 9 = 56

56 is the 8th multiple of 7.
