A rod is divided in the ratio 23:36:32\frac{2}{3}:\frac{3}{6}:\frac{3}{2}. Total length 32 m. Find the smallest piece.

Explanation

The correct answer is option 1 i.e. 6 m.

The ratio of the lengths of parts of rod = 23:36:32\frac{2}{3}:\frac{3}{6}:\frac{3}{2}

Taking LCM of dinominators and multiplyimg with fractions, 

Ratio = 4 : 3 : 9

Now, smallest part = (32/16) × 3 

⇒ 2 × 3 = 6 m
