A race track is in the shape of a ring whose inner and outer circumferences are 880 m and 1012 m, respectively. What is the area (in m2) of the track? (Take π=227\pi = {22 \over 7})

Inner radius (r) = 880/(2 × 22/7) = 140 m

Outer radius (R) = 1012/(2 × 22/7) = 161 m

Track area = 81466 - 61600 = 19866 m2
