Show answer & explanation
Correct answer: A
Explanation
The correct answer is Option 1 i.e. 46.2%.
For 30% profit the selling price of the goods = (8000 × 130/100) = 10400
30% of the CP sold at 12% profit = (8000 × 30/100) × 112/100 = Rs 2688
Sp2 = 2688
Remaing goods = 8000 - 2400 = 5600
40% of the remainig CP are sold at 25% profit = (5600 × 40/100) × 125/100 = Rs 2800
Sp2 = 2800
Remaining CP= (8000 - 2400 - 2240) = 3360
Remainig SP = (10400 - 2688 - 2800 = 4912)
So Profit % = (4912 - 3360)/3360 × 100 = 46.19%
