Given that

The shopkeeper uses a false weight of 950 grams in spite of 1000 grams

Hence, the ratio of S.P : C.P is given as

S.PC.P\frac{S.P}{C.P} = 1000950\frac{1000}{950} = 10095\frac{100}{95}

Hence the gain percentage = 595\frac{5}{95}  × 100 = 55195\frac{5}{19}%
