Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

 The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 12285

The ratio among A, B, C, and D is 4 : 12 : 30 : 45 respectively.

The difference between the shares of A and D is Rs. 5535.

Let the common ratio be x.

The share of A = Rs. 4x

The share of B = Rs. 12x

The share of C = Rs. 30x

The share of D = Rs. 45x

Total sum = (45 + 30 + 12 + 4)x = Rs. 91x

According to the question -

45x - 4x = 5535

41x = 5535

x = 135

91x = 12285

The total sum = Rs. 12285
