Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 45.

Understanding/Application

Let number of coins of ₹ 2, ₹ 5 and ₹ 10 be 6x, 9x and 10x respectively.

Total amount = (2 × 6x) + (5 × 9x) + (10 × 10x) = 785

12x + 45x + 100x = 785

x = 785/157 = 5

Number of Rs. 5 coins = 9x = 9(5) = 45
