Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: D

Explanation

The correct answer is option 4 i.e. 60

Let the number of 1 Rs ,2 Rs and 5 Rs be 8y ,y and 5y

It has a total of 420 Rs.

8y + (2 × 2y) + (5 × 5y) = 420

8y + 4y + 25y = 420

35y = 420 , y = 12

Number of coins of 5 Rs = 5 × 12 = 60 coins.
