SSC CHSL 2024 PYQ — Question 69

SSC CHSL - 03 July 2024 - Shift 2 • Quantitative Aptitude • Q69

A, B, C are three points such that AB = 11 cm, BC = 13 cm and AC = 24 cm. Number of circles passing through the points A, B, C is:

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is option 1 i.e. 0.

Given that, AB = 11 cm

BC = 13 cm

AC = 24 cm

For a triangle to be formed, the sum of any two sides should be greater than the third side, a + b > c.

In the given question,

AB + BC = AC

So, no triangle is formed.

And no circle will pass through the points A, B and C.

Hence the number of circles passing through points A, B and C is 0.
