If the money received by C is Rs. 27,000, what is the total profit?

Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 1 i.e. 87750

Let the total profit = x

A is a working partner and gets 20% of the profit as working allowance.

So, a get 0.2x as working allowance.

The remaining 0.8x profit is distributed between them according to the investment.

So ratio of investment of A, ,B, and C = 55000:65000:75000 = 11:13:15

As given c get 27000 from the profit, then

(0.8x) × 15/39 = 27000

⇒ x = 87750
