Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: C

Explanation

The correct answer is option 3 i.e. 73,000

Let total sum = 300 unit

⇒Investment of A = 300 × 131 \over 3 = 100 unit

⇒Investment of B = 300-100 = 200 × 141 \over 4  = 50

⇒Investment of C =  300 - (100 + 50) = 300 -150= 150 unit

The ratio of investment in 1 year

⇒A : B : C = 100 : 50 : 150 =  2 : 1 : 3

⇒Total profit = 6 unit = 219000 Rs

⇒1 unit = 36500 Rs

so the share of A’s Profit = 2 unit = 2 × 36500 = Rs 73000.
