Show answer & explanation

Correct answer: A

Explanation

The correct answer is Option 1 i.e. 100 days.

Understanding/Application

A and B can do 30% of the work in 6 days.

A and B can do 100% of the work in 20 days.

Let the total work to be done be x.

Work done by A and B together in 1 day = x/20

B alone can do the same work in 25 days.

Work done by B alone in 1 day = x/25

Work done by A alone in 1 day = x/20 - x/25 = x/100

Days required by A to alone complete the work = 100 days
