15 men complete a work in 10 days. 15 women complete the same work in 12 days. If all these men and women work together, then the number of days required to complete that work is:

The correct answer is Option 1 i.e. 55115\frac{5}{11}.

Let the total work to be done LCM of (10, 12) = 60 units.

Now efficiency of 15 men = 601060 \over 10 = 6 units/day

And efficiency of 15 women = 601260 \over 12 = 5 units/day

Time taken by 15 men and 15 women to complete the work together = 606+560 \over 6 + 5 = 55115{5 \over 11} days
